Patrick Benje Cascio

April 5, 1959 — June 13, 2024

On Thursday, June 13th, at the end of his daily jog, Pat ran straight through his finish line and into the pearly gates of heaven. Hebrews 12 reminds us to "run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith." Pat truly embodied this in his relationship with the Lord and in his daily life.

He was a loving and devoted husband for 48 years to Tammy Lowery Cascio, a nurturing and proud father to Tiffany Cascio Lassiegne and Talise Cascio, a beloved father-in-love to Raymond Lassiegne, and a cherished grandfather to Blaze Lassiegne. He was also a loyal and treasured best friend to all of them.

He was the son of the late Ben and the late Bee Anna Comeaux Cascio, son in love of the late Archie Joseph Lowery Sr. and Catherine Cortez Lowery. Brother of the late Michael Cascio (Survived by Kim Cascio). Brother in love to Debra Lowery DeNicola (the late Joseph "Pete" DeNicola), the late Cathy Ann Lowery and the late Archie Joseph Lowery Jr. (Survived by Cheryl "Dolly" Lowery). A fatherly figure throughout his life, Daddy Pappy (the late Carol) Estopinol. Survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

A godly man of excellence, Pat possessed knowledge and expertise across a wide range of subjects. He exemplified a disciplined life in all areas and was a well-rounded individual. As an aviation and maritime expert, he held both a Private Pilot License and a Coast Guard License. Throughout his life, Pat was known for accomplishing and excelling in anything he set his mind to. Most importantly, he was a man of faith and courage. His lifelong anthem verse was Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Pat touched the lives of many, he never knew or met a stranger. Specifically, those who he was divinely connected with through the ministry of Experience ELLE.

He was compassionate, kind, loyal, inspirational, strong, and wise—especially to those he was called to evangelize and minister to. As his relationship with Jesus grew, he transformed from a professional bass fisherman into a true fisher of men.

Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” - Matthew 4:19

The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to Kirk Mabile, Assistant Manager and Funeral Director at Mothe Funeral Home for his kindness, compassion and guidance during this difficult time.

A Private Graveside Service was held in the Chapel of Faith at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME assisted the family.
