Patricia Miller Uhle

Patricia Miller Uhle passed away peacefully at her home in Belle Chasse, LA, at the age of 98, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 9, 1927, in Gretna, LA, to her late parents, Mildred Henderson Miller and George Anthony Miller Sr. Preceded in death by her brother, Capt. George A (Buddy) Miller Jr.

Patricia was the loving wife of the late Henry Vincent Uhle Jr. Together they had two children, a son, Michael Anthony Uhle (deceased) at 6 months of age and her devoted daughter and caregiver, Pamela U. Galle along with the loving support of her son-in-law Steve R. Galle along with her beloved grandson Dustin M. Galle who brought her so much laughter and joy. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Steve (Chip) R. Galle Jr., who spent much time with and loved her dearly.

Patricia had four nieces whom she cherished deeply: Christine Cargol, Elizabeth (Beth) Wilcox, Claudia Rholdon, and Lisa Swann, along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care given to her by Michelle, Rosie, Donna, Crystal, and Dwayne from Heart of Hospice in Gretna, LA.

Patricia retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company in 1982. After retirement, she was a member of the South Central Bell Telephone Pioneers of America, AARP, Red Hat Society, and Seniors And Law Enforcement Together (S.A.L.T.), all in Belle Chasse, LA.

She enjoyed many of her retirement years at her home in Pass Christian, MS, on the Gulf Coast with family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and service on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Mothe's Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna, LA.
