Patricia Ann Stilley Hartsell Reed passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 9, 1938.
She was the wife of the late William H. "Bill" Hartsell. She was the loving mother of Arthur (Peggy), Bruce (the late Patti), Kirk (Darla), John, Stephen (the late Peggy), and Michael (Stacey). She was the cherished grandmother of Mark (fiancé Kayla), Courtney (Matt), Josh, Victoria (Chase), Olivia, Jared, Benjamin, Chase, and Maycee. She was the great-grandmother of Parker and John Hayes.
She was born to the late Frances and Hollis Stilley. She was the sister of the late Ray (Yvette), Gail (Bill), and Dennis (Linda). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
Born in New Orleans, Patricia was a native of the New Orleans area. She graduated from McDonogh 35 High School. Patricia began her professional career at Drillers Electric, where she worked for 25 years. She was successful and well respected in various administrative roles at Hartwig Moss Insurance Agency, where she worked for 34 years until retiring at the age of 84. She appreciated working with the Moss family and continued to be involved with the friends she made there, as well as continuing to participate in their weekly football pools. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hartwig "Robby" Moss IV and the Hartwig Moss Insurance Agency family.
Patricia was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. Earlier in her life, Patricia was an avid tennis player. Throughout her life, she was involved in Visitation and St. Joachim Catholic churches as well as numerous religious and civic organizations. However, her true passion was spending time with her loving family and friends.
Patricia was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit and vibrant energetic nature will remain in the many memories of her cherished friends and family until they meet her again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, Louisiana, 70072 on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 with visitation from 9:00 to 11:00. Interment will follow in St. Pius X Cemetery, 8151 Barataria Boulevard, Marrero, Louisiana 70072.
