Patricia Crowell Nichols

Patricia Crowell Nichols, affectionately known as Patsy, passed away on February 3, 2026, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was born on August 24, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois. Patsy dedicated her professional life to serving others as a registered nurse, a testament to her kind and compassionate nature.

Throughout her life, Patsy was known for her warm personality, great listening skills, and an uncanny ability to make friends with anyone she met. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional career, as she was a beloved mother to her four children, Nichole, Megan, Benjamin, and Bryanna. She is also survived by her 8 wonderful and loving grandchildren: Georgia, Ruby, Jack, Charlie, Annabelle, Derek, Felicity and Savannah. 

Patsy had a deep passion for sports, particularly her unwavering support for the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Twins. This enthusiasm for her teams was a source of joy that she shared with friends and family alike.

A visitation in her memory will be held at New Orleans - Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC, located at 1300 Vallette St, New Orleans, LA 70114, on March 8, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Following the visitation, a prayer service will take place at the same location, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM.

Patsy’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her compassion, love, and friendship will be deeply missed.
