Patricia Fox Goens passed away on December 21, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Goens, Sr. for 61 years. Daughter of the late Archibald M. Fox and Eunice Malbrough Fox. Mother of Elizabeth G. Bourgeois (David), Robert Goens, Jr. (Ellen), David Goens (Tamie), Catherine G. Gerrets (Damon), Susan G. Fortier (John), and Stephen Goens (Nancy). Grandmother of Benjamin, Daniel (Liz), Rebecca (Andrew), Jordan (Ashley), Robert III (Brittany), Patrick, Taylor, Amanda (Lance), Adam (Courtney), Jared, Aaron, Evan, Emily, Eugene, Erin, Melissa, Katie, Lauren, and Jennifer. Great-grandmother of Isabel, August, Madeleine, Brody, Arabella, and Brianna. Sister of Betty Sue Fox Chenevert (Philip). Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Age 81 years, a native of Algiers and resident of Gretna, LA, and longtime member of Twilight Gardeners Association and Jefferson Parish Council of Garden Clubs. Owner of Floral Expressions for eleven years with partner and friend Joy Manguno in Gretna, LA. Special thanks to the staff of Tranquil Living for their loving care through this past year.
