Patricia McDonald DiPascal

Patricia McDonald DiPascal, age 77, passed away peacefully in Marrero, LA on April 21, 2023. She was a constant light to family and friends. Trish is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Cosimo DiPascal; her daughter and son in law, Gina Lyn DiPascal Moylan and Daniel Patrick Moylan; her grandchildren, Daniel Edward Moylan and Sophia Renee Moylan; her sisters Deborah Roberts and Katherine Martin; and her niece Shay LeBlanc. Trish was born on December 4, 1945 in New Orleans. She was raised into a large, loving family that included her parents, Dennis and Julia McDonald; her stepmother, Pearl Hinel McDonald; nine brothers and sisters—Denny, Ruth, June, Guy, Trish, Bill, Mike, Debbie, and Kathy; and countless younger nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as lifelong friends. Trish graduated from Immaculata High School and had an active and varied career—most recently a staff position in the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office. As younger parents, she and Joe lived and traveled widely around the United States with Gina. She was a devoted wife, mama, and grammy who filled her homes with love and laughter.

Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 10 am.
