Pansy Mae Dempster D'Angelo

Pansy Mae Dempster D’Angelo, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida Baudoin Dempster and Walter Dempster; siblings, Azalea Frenchman, Shirley Bourgeois, Ruby Lee Julia, Gloria Holleman, Walter Dempster, Marjorie Berard, Rosadell Naquin, Diana Ford and Adlis Dempster. She is beloved wife of 37 years, Vito Tony D’Angelo. She is loving mother of Charlene Guidry ( Gary), Kevin Hogan ( Denise) and Wendy Hogan. She is loving step- mother of Arturo D’Angelo, Maria Candeloro (Alfredo), Galassia Marra ( Tomasso) and Iride Chiarelli ( Silvio). She is devoted sister and best friend of Grace Warino. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 step- grandchildren, other family and friends. Pansy was a 24 year employee of Jefferson Parish School Board. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Ochsner Oncology for the prompt caring service provided to her. Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 beginning at 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass all at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6851 River Road, Waggaman, LA. Interment Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church Cemetery, Waggaman. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the American Cancer Society.
