Pamela Templet Jones

Pamela Templet Jones passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7th, 2026, at the age of 74. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on December 26th, 1951, to Louise and Nesson Templet.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John E. Jones. She is also survived by her sister Suzette Lowery (Richard), her brother-in-law, Stephen Jones, sister-in-law, Anita Jones Morse, her niece, Shannon Risinger, her nephew, Paul Lowery (Alisha), her nephew, James Swider, and her niece, Romy Swider. She is also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends.

Pamela Jones was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all, being the very definition of a "caretaker." She was everyone's "Nanny." Her true passion was spending time with her loving family and friends. After taking care of everyone close to her, her time has come to rest. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services in the chapel at MOTHE Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana, on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana 70056.
