Nova Dee H. Carbo

Nova Dee Hatten Carbo entered into eternal rest on August 16, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Mitchell "Bubby" Carbo, Jr. Mother of Gayle C. Guidroz (Leo Jr.) and Vickie C. Seymour (late Rick). Grandmother of Tomidee V. Guillot (Geoffrey), Melissa Guidroz, Lauren V. Seymour (John), Kyle Scivicque (Susan), and Amy Guidroz (Daniel). Great-grandmother of Morgan, Avery, Piper, Neil, Lacie, Bryson, Shelby, Carly, Kara, Gabriel, and Kyson. Daughter of the late William Earl Hatten and Pina Head Hatten. Sister of Bobby G. Hatten (late Betty), and the late Walter "Bert" Hatten and Myron "Dale" Hatten. Age 89 years, a native of Sikes, LA and lfielong resident of Marrero, LA. Nova Dee was a graduate of Marrero High School and spent her career with the Louisiana Department of Transportation. She was a member of Jefferson Parish Golden Agers, District and StateSenior Olympics - Hall of Fame 2019, avid bowler, card player, dancer, and cruises. MiMi will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all. 

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time. Interment Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
