Nolan J. Seibert, Sr. passed away on January 25, 2021. Husband of Lois Banta and the late Shirley Hock. He was born on June 16, 1929. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Seibert and Noricia Cheramie; his brother, Henry Seibert and his sister, Alcide Ford. He is the father of Nolan J. Seibert, Jr. (Do) and stepfather to Dane (fiancé, Rachel) Barrois, Dale (Kelli) Barrois, Donnie (Nicole) Barrois and Daren (Angel) Barrois. Grandfather to 10, great grandfather to 12 and great great grandfather to 5. He retired from Mothe Life Insurance Company after 50 years. He enjoyed seeing his friends and sharing coffee, food and stories with his many customers. He never forgot a face and he never met a stranger. He served proudly in the United States Army in the 9th Air Borne Division. He loved serving his country and jumping out of airplanes. Some of his many loves were traveling, meeting new people and seeing new places; Nolan’s life was life well lived. He was an active member of Mason’s New Borne Lodge and Lodge 479. Due to the COVID Pandemic, attendees are required to wear their face mask for the duration of the memorial visitation and memorial Mass. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, 700 Maple Avenue, Harvey, LA on Monday, February 1, 2020 from 10AM until 12PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church on Monday at 12PM. Burial will be privately held. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family during this difficult time.
