Noelie Marie Granier Theriot

Noelie Granier Theriot entered eternal rest on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the age of 96. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and lived in Harvey, LA.

She is preceded in death by her parents Albin J. Granier and Noelie Waguespack Granier, her husband of 45 years Camille A Theriot and all of her siblings, sisters Joyce Martinez, Lucille Cortez, Roselyn Hennen, Dorothy Ordoyne and Dolly Mae Cortez and brothers Henry, Vernon, Warren, Albin Jr. and Arthur Granier.

She is survived by her children Jane Williams (Jeffrey), Celina Hull (the late Daryl), Earline Oddo (Peter Bock) and Susan Landrum (Rodney) and her grandchildren, Sherry Cox (Danny), Brent Barnhouse (Lynda), Amy Barnhouse-Mouton (the late Michael), Stacy Williams. Nicole Oddo, Sheila Pickwoad (Reynaldo), Giuseppe Oddo, Amanda Lombas (George), Derek Landrum (Jessica) and Chad Landrum (Alex Williams). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild with one on the way.

Noelie was a devout parishioner of Infant Jesus of Prague Church. She not only loved her faith but lived it as well. She was always helping others by caring, sharing and praying.

Noelie liked being outdoors. She could often be found sitting on her swing, walking in her neighborhood or caring for her garden. 

Above everything else, her favorite thing to do was to spend time with family making memories. She will be missed by all her knew her.

The family will receive friends for the visitation on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey, 2100 Westbank Expressway. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am with a reception for family and friends to follow. Interment will be at 2:15 pm in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1255 Whitney Ave, Terrytown, LA.
