Noel Paul Forrest

Noel P. Forrest, Sr. passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 84 surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Lawson R. Forrest, Sr. and Elaine Romagosa Forrest on October 24, 1939.

He is survived by his beloved wife Gail Henning Forrest of 62 years. Devoted father to Kelly Forrest, Stacey Forrest Carse(Jason), Noel P. Forrest, Jr.(Pamela). Proud grandfather of Evan Carse, Mason Carse, Maelyn Forrest and step granddaughter Emery Kate Rone.

Noel is survived by his sister Judy Forrest Loup and preceded in death by his brother Lawson R. Forrest, Jr.(Margie).

Noel graduated from Holy Name of Mary High School(Algiers) and served in the Marine Corps Reserve. He retired from Citizens Utilities(Louisiana Gas Service Company) after many years of service where he worked as a construction supervisor.

Noel was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent many good times at the camp in Mississippi with family and friends. He was also a gifted artist and fabricator, and there was nothing he could not fix. Family and friends will cherish his handmade gifts for years to come.

He will be missed immensely by all who knew him.

A private graveside service will be held at Saint Joseph Abbey.
