Nell Hunt Bridges

Nell Hunt Bridges passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Married to the love of her life, the late Ronald B. Bridges for 60 years, together since the age of 13. Mother of Angela Jane Bridges Caletri (David), and Carlton Hunt Bridges. Daughter of the late Nell Wilkinson Hunt and Carlton E. Hunt. Grandmother of Jenna Lynn Caletri Hardy (Chase), Nicholas Bridges Caletri (Kiley), and Joseph Ronald Caletri (Victoria). Great grandmother of Sophia, Grayson, Parker and Baker. She will be greatly missed by her beloved four legged friends, Missi and Jay. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was an avid tennis player and loved to play bridge with many of her good friends. She was a member of the Krewe de la Red Hat Club, the Garden Club, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Kiwanis Club of Algiers. She was a native of McComb, Mississippi and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Aurora United Methodist Church, 3300 Eton St., Algiers, LA on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 12noon.
