Naomi Hunter Pere

Naomi Hunter Pere, 82 years old, of Marrero, LA went to heaven on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Daughter of the late Abel Hunter,Sr. and Clara L. Hunter. Beloved wife of the late John Pere, Jr, married on April 10, 1955. She is survived by her children, Diane Matherne (Claude), Lisa Woods (Paul), Donna Strander (Eric), David Pere ( Michelle) and Grandchildren, Christopher Woods, Sr., Jessica Woods, Shelby Pere, Ty Woods (Crystal) Great Grandchildren, Christopher Woods, Jr., Benjamin Woods and Joshua Woods. Sister of Dolores H. Boudreaux, the late Abel Hunter, Jr , and Joyce H. Boudreaux. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home from 9am until 11am.
