Nancy Lee Badalamenti Fortmayer

Nancy Lee Badalamenti Fortmayer, 59, of Belle Chasse, LA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 09, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the devoted wife of William C. Fortmayer, Jr. for 35 years. She was the beloved mother to William C. Fortmayer III (Callie) and Ashley F. LeBlanc (Kale) and the proud grandmother to Michael C. and Morgan E. LeBlanc. Nancy Lee is the daughter of the late Michael J. Badalamenti and Lena Nancy Ranatza Badalamenti. She is also survived by her brother, Anthony M. Badalamenti (Jennifer) and sister Cynthia B. Martin (Eddie), beloved nieces and nephews, extended family and life-long friends. She was a dedicated employee of Brown & Root at Alliance Refinery for 35 years. She leaves a void in many lives and will be sadly missed. The family would like to extend their thanks to all of her family, friends and co-workers for being a part of her life especially those who continued to visit her throughout her fight to make her final days happy ones. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 9am until 11am. A funeral mass will follow in the funeral home chapel with the interment at Westlawn Memorial Park.
