Morris H. Molaison, Jr.

September 26, 1941 — September 15, 2022

Morris H. Molaison, Jr. passed away peacefully on September 15, 2022 at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anna Miceli Molaison and Morris Hamilton Molaison, Sr.

Survivors include his sister, Marilyn Bourgeois (the late Bowman); nieces, Lisa Lingoni, Lori Ochoa (Ralph), and Linn Dufrene (Darren); nephew, Lorn Bourgeois, Sr. (Lourdes), along with several great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Morris served his country in the Louisiana National Guard. He attended U.N.O., graduated with his BS from Southeastern LA University and later earned his M.B.A. from Loyola University, New Orleans. He worked as an account manager for Johnson & Higgins Insurance, as an accountant for Delta Steamship, and as an accountant for Chailland, Inc.

He was an avid sailor and was a member of New Orleans Yacht Club, Corinthian Sailing Assn., and the Knights of Columbus Council #1905. He will be sadly missed.

The visitation will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 724 Camp Street in New Orleans on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna.
