Monica L. Duplechin Kline peacefully departed this life Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the age of 79. Daughter of the late Leroy and May Duplechin. Monica was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Kline, Jr. She will be dearly missed by her children Malcolm III, Kenneth Sr. (Laura), Mark Sr. (Andree), Scott Sr., late Bryant (Sandi) and twin baby sons. She cherished her grandchildren, Danielle (Greg), Danielle (Joey), Katelyn, Mark Jr., Kenny Jr., Emily (Mitchell), Kimberly, Camryn, Scott Jr., and Cailyn, and great-grandsons, Abram, Brennan, Gabriel and Lukas; along with nieces Kelly and Kerry. Monica enjoyed her bi-weekly pokeno games with her friends and cheering on the Saints each season.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate staff at Oschner Hospital Westbank Campus as well as Passages Hospice for their kind and attentive care through this difficult time.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 1pm. Visitation will be held from 10am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetary.
