Mona Babin Dunn

Mona Babin Dunn entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2026. Beloved wife of Duane D. Dunn. Daughter of the late Norman Babin and Anna Mae Boudreaux Babin. Sister of the late Barbara Gilliam (George). Aunt of Tracie Uzee (late Douglas Jr.), Andrea Hill (Chetwood) and great-aunt of Matthew Uzee (Michelle), Gregory Uzee (Meagan), Buddy Hill, and Abby Hill. Great-great-aunt of Mia, Miranda, and Brenden. Age 71 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Harvey, LA. Mona was a graduate of L.W. Higgins High School and spent her career as a hair dresser until retirement. She was an officer in the Krewe of Ulysses and member of Nefatari parades.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 1:30 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until service time.
