Mildred Landry Scarabin, age 93 entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 27, 2014. Wife of the late Ernest J. Scarabin. Daughter of the late Sam Landry and Euphasia Duboise Landry. Loving and devoted mother of Bettyjean Casey. Loving grandmother of Joel Casey (Lisa) and Jada Casey Verberne (Craig). Great Grandmother of Alaina Verberne, Mackenna Casey and Christopher Verberne. Sister of the late Ethel Babin, Gertrude Scarabin, Vivian Landry, Andrew Landry, Wilson Landry and Herman Landry. Mildred was born in Port Eads, LA and was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Sally Staiger and her staff at Westbank Lighthouse for their love and care. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 9AM until 11AM. Graveside services will be held at 11:30AM at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
