Mildred Foret DiPascal passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on August 22nd, 1931, in Louisiana, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ambrose Foret and the late Andriella Guillot Foret.

Mildred was the devoted wife of the late Carl DiPascal and a loving mother to her sons, David DiPascal (Tara) and Keith DiPascal (Leah).

She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Brody DiPascal (Jordan), Carson DiPascal (Allison), David DiPascal, Jr. (Lisa), Derek DiPascal (Janell), and Lauren McManus (Matthew), and a beloved step-grandmother to Megan Witalec (Jonathan) and Sydney Williams. She was also the great-grandmother and great-great grandmother whose unconditional love, warmth, and laughter created lasting memories for generations.

Mildred is survived by her sisters Elsie Treadaway (Andrew), Hazel Guidry (the late Earl), Vivian Orgeron (L.J.), and Catherine Este (the late Huey). She was preceded in death by her sisters Isabel Bourg (the late O’Neil), Audrey Victoriano (the late Xavier) and Paulette Boulas and her brothers Melvin Foret (the late Gerti), Wallace Foret (the late Patsy), and Lynn Paul Foret (Ernestine).

Mildred embraced life with a joyful spirit and never passed up an opportunity to make memories. She loved traveling with her friends, dancing whenever there was music, and spending time with the people she loved most. Whether she was listening to her favorite Sammy Kershaw songs, enjoying a spirited game of Bingo or Poker Keno, or simply surrounded by family, Mildred found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Her greatest pride and deepest love were always reserved for her family.

She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, all of whom will miss her kind heart, quick smile, and the joy she brought wherever she went.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mildred’s life during a funeral service in the chapel at MOTHE Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana, on Friday, July 24th, 2026.

Funeral Arrangements:

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m.

Burial: Immediately following the Mass.
