Meldonia "Mallie" Plaisance Dominique

Meldonia “Mallie” Plaisance Dominique went to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Davis Dominique. She is the daughter of the late Sidney and Armentine Plaisance. Mallie is the loving mother of Charles Dominique (Debra), Davis Dominique, Jerry Lombas (Pete), Pamela Orgeron (Bobby), Susan Toups (Wade), Amy Dominique (Brad), Lou Ann Dominique and the late Ulysses Rivere and Robert Dominique. She is survived by 18 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren. Mallie is also survived by 1 brother and is preceded in death by 5 sisters and 11 brothers. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Mallie was a lifelong resident of Westwego, Louisiana. She loved to crochet, paint by numbers and sew as well as other crafts. She was a lifelong Faithful member of Holy Sanctified Church (Church of the Home) in Westwego, Louisiana. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Foundations Hospice and their personal caretakers especially her Primary Care Physician, Dr. Vo and Staff for the love and dedication given to Meldonia. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you donate to a charity of your choice or purchase flowers for your mother while she is still with you so she can enjoy them. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Sidney Plaisance Family Cemetery, 1112 Avenue E, Westwego, Louisiana.
