Mary Ann Theriot

Mary Ann Theriot entered into eternal rest on August 3, 2026. Age 87 and a lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana. Beloved daughter of the late Elic Theriot and Clothilde Becnel Theriot. Preceded in death by her brothers, Alex and Richard Theriot, sister-in-law, Melvina Theriot, and in laws, Terry and Enid Hymel. Loving mother of Wavelynn Collongues (Mike), Richard Breaux, Althea Bowers and the late Karen Price (Ricky). Grandmother of Amanda, Tracena, Danielle, Gavin, Christian, Christopher, Harry “Buckshot”, and Andrew. Great grandmother of Addyson, Payton, Adalena, Celia, Aiden, Carter, Lahkyn, Kamaryi, Amelia, and Kylan. Godmother of Elvira and Terry. Aunt of Lizzy (Mike) and the late Raymond (Susie). The family would like to express appreciation to Wynhoven Community Care Center’s staff for their love, care and compassion for the past eleven years. Also, thank you to West Jefferson Medical Center Emergency Department and Eighth Floor Staff for the compassionate care received in the last hours of Mary’s life. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy, Harvey, LA on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 11am.
