Martha Simpson Meaux

Martha Simpson Meaux entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Dudley “DJ” Meaux, Sr. Daughter of the late Angelle and Herbert Simpson, Sr. Mother of Robert Meaux (Wife Leanna) and the late Dudley John Meaux, Jr. Grandmother of Cheri Meaux, Amy Meaux, Ryan Meaux and the late Robert Meaux and Santana Meaux. Sister of Marian S. Hains, Myrtle S. Comeaux (Husband Joseph) and the late Herbert Simpson, Jr. and Herman Simpson. Survived by 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Martha was a longtime member of AARP. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, October 24, 2011 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
