Mark J. Lesieur

Mark J. LeSieur, a friend to all that knew him, passed away suddenly Friday November 18, 2016 at the age of 47. Mark was a beloved and devoted husband, phenomenal father, and the most loving Pawpaw. His life revolved around his family and he was the center of their universe. He enjoyed many things in life including vacationing, and cooking for his family while listening to classic rock. His favorite past time was spending time with his children and spoiling his granddaughters. He also loved watching boxing, and playing golf. He never stopped believing and held on to that feeling. He is survived by his wife of 24 years; Deborah LeSieur, mother; Joanna LeSieur, brother, Dana LeSieur and family. His legacy will continue on by his children Amber Smith, Michael Smith, Eric Arabie, Shawna Arabie, Joshua Roubion, as well as his granddaughters, his pride and joys, Alexis, Malia, and Lenley Arabie, and Goddaughters Allie LeSieur and Lindsey Savoie. Mark was a father figure to anyone who needed him including Brandon Cortez, Brandi Tierney and Kelly Ford. He was also Pawpaw to many inherited grandchildren. Mark was proceeded in death by his father Wayne LeSieur, Godmother Florence T. Babin, Godfather Clarence CJ Babin Jr. and son Umar Ervin. He was an alumni from Arch Bishop Shaw High School, an employee of Delta World Tire, and an avid Saints fan. Mark was very grateful for all that he had and the love that he was given. Mark was an Epic man who rocked life like a hurricane. He held on loosely and never let go. He will be greatly missed by many.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 1:30 PM.
