Marion Marie Wagenhauser

January 8, 1926 — March 2, 2024

Marion Marie Lapeyrouse Wagenhauser passed from this life on March 2, 2024 at the age of 98 years. Marion was born on January 8, 1926 in New Orleans, LA to the late Claire Toups Lapeyrouse and the late Morris W. Lapeyrouse. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter G. Wagenhauser and mother to the late William "Billy" Wagenhauser. She is survived bt her brother Morris J. Lapeyrouse, sister Marlene Lapeyrouse Lorio and her nieces and nephews. At the time of her death Marion was a resident of Lacombe, LA, and a former resident of Algiers, LA. Marion retired from South Central Bell, now known as AT&T, telephone company and was the past president of the Telephone Pioneers volunteer group. Special thanks are given to her niece June Brown Hebert, who provided comfort and care. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, in Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 16, 2024 beginning at 10 AM. A funeral mass will begin at 11AM and internment will follow immediately at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., in Gretna, LA.
