Marilyn Adams Perkins entered eternal rest on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the age of 95. Beloved and loving wife of the late Millard L. Perkins, Sr., for 50 years. Daughter of the late Onida LeFebre and the late Sidney Adams; and she was raised by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Esta. Loving mother of Shelia P. Cardenal (Lenny), Pamela P. Hebert (David), Michel A. Perkins and the late Millard L. Perkins, Jr. Devoted grandmother of David Hebert (Joni), Lenny Cardenal (Kelly), Michael Hebert, Vito Cardenal, Ryan Hebert (Jessica), Blake Perkins and Megan Perkins. Loving great grandmother of Hunter Hebert, Macie Hebert, Kade Cardenal (Kristina), Alayna Cardenal, Emma Cardenal, Colston Cardenal, Royce, Remy and Reed Hebert and Emmie Rose Perkins (Jade Correnti). Sister of Donald LeFebre (Susie), Sharon LeFebre, Keith LeFebre (Kathy) and the late Milton LeFebre. Aunt of Dwayne LeFebre, Jerry, Michael and Tony LaRocca, Abby “Bo” Perkins and the late Yvette LeFebre Russo. Marilyn was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and resided in Westwego, Louisiana for many years. She worked at Loups Supermarket (Elmer’s Candy-New Orleans) and Jefferson Parish School Board in the Transportation Department and drove School Bus #300 for 26 years. In 2011 she was awarded woman of the year by Holy Guardian Angels Church in Bridge City, Louisiana. She was also part of the Gumbo Festival in Bridge City for 25 years. Marilyn was a very devoted Catholic who loved the Lord and she watched Mass and recited the Rosary every single day. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and love to Serenity Hospice, Dana Constant, Nicole Hebert, Lenny and Kelly Cardenal, Michael and Macie Hebert, Susan Bourg and Pam Breaux for their love and care given to our mother. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Avenue A and 4th Street in Westwego, Louisiana on Friday, June 12, 2026, beginning at 10AM until 12PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Friday at 12PM. Interment will immediately follow the Mass in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, Louisiana. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family during this most difficult time.
