Marilyn Keesee Bevolo passed away peacefully on May 18, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Beloved mother of Allison Hughes Griffen (Barry). Sister of the late Virginia Arleta Keesee and James Perry Keesee. Daughter of the late Asa Holland Keesee and Thelma Blanche Perry Keesee. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
She worked for many years in the Medical Records department of Charity Hospital and retired as a transcriptionist. She later volunteered her time working with special needs men and women preparing them for careers with T.J. Maxx stores. She was so successful that the corporation hired her as a job coach where she worked until her retirement.
She was very active in the Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 162 in Gretna where she worked on several fundraisers and projects to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Marilyn touched the hearts and lives of so many. Her legacy lives on but she will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Prayers at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 11 AM. Interment Gates of Heaven Mausoleum (Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery) in Westwego.
