Marilyn Agoff

Marilyn Agoff was born on August 28, 1946 and passed away unexpectedly at her home on June 19, 2022. She was born the daughter of the late Herman and Belzlice Crosby in Cut-Off, Louisiana.

She was united in marriage to Theriot Agoff Sr. in April 1970. They were residents of Lafitte for many years. The two enjoyed traveling around the country, going to American Veterans conventions and playing bingo. Marilyn loved cooking and fishing. She could find a bingo hall in the most unexpected spot and Marilyn was always willing to give someone a ride, even strangers.

Marilyn is survived by her sons Theriot Agoff Jr. and Latherio (Lisa) Agoff, two step-daughters, Sheralyn Agoff and Mary Agoff; grandchildren Corah Agoff and John-Charles Agoff; step-grandchildren Todd (Christie) Callais and Tyler Callais; step great-grand-daughter Darian Callais. Brother, Surgeon Crosby and Nephew and niece Beau Duplantis and Beth Duplantis. Special friends Christopher and Billy and a host of friends and relatives who loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Theriot Agoff Sr. and her sister LuAnn Duplantis.

A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 5:00 pm at Leo Kerner Multiplex Center 4917 City Park Dr., Lafitte, Louisiana. A meal will follow the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the family, the American Veterans ( ) or Lions Club ( ).
