Marie Gros Deseamus

Marie Gros DeSeamus, age 90 years, a native of Raceland, LA and lifelong resident of Marrero, LA, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2017 at Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care Center, surrounded by family. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward D. DeSeamus, Sr. She is survived by her loving and dedicated children Debbie Cemo (Tony) and Edward DeSeamus, Jr. (Debbie). Grandmother of Amanda DeSeamus and Lindsey DeSeamus (Mike Flanagan). Step-grandmother of Darrel Cemo (Shaun) and Tracey Lavignette (Chuck) and Step great-grandmother of Allie, Mason, Alix, and Graham. Daughter of the late Jessie Nesis Gros, Sr. and Jeanne Pertuit Gros. Sister of Jessie Gros, Jr. (Tally) and the late Betty Theriot (late Maurice). Sister-in-law of the late Lou Gros. Aunt of Maureen Theriot (Marie Giardina), Vickie Gros, Pattie G. Harris (Tod), and Jessie Gros, III (Debbie). Survived by a host of great-nieces and nephews, one great-grand-nephew, and her loving dog Bella "Peanut" who brought her much happiness. Preceded in death by her faithful dog, Shu-Shu.
A very heartfelt thank you to the wonderful employees of Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care and Concerned Care Hospice group (Catherine) for the tender care and loving support the lavished on our mother during her stay with them.
