Maria Gonzalez

María Gonzalez, born on September 21, 1945, in San Diego, Jalisco, Mexico, passed away on March 24, 2026. María was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Euclides Gonzalez. Together, they built a life centered on faith, love, and devotion to family. She is survived by her loving children, Ana Gonzalez (spouse Hugo Flores), and her son Jose Gonzalez Jr. She is also survived by her dear siblings, José, Angela, Chuchi, Teresa, Pedro, and Ramiro. María was a proud and devoted grandmother to Liana, Giselle, Jacob, and Tyler, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. María was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was a reflection of her deep Faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived to serve God first and her family second, always leading with compassion, strength, and unwavering love. She believed wholeheartedly in forgiveness and instilled this value in all who knew her. Her message to her family was always simple yet powerful: “Ora y busca a Dios” Pray and seek God. These words will continue to guide her loved ones. Though her passing leaves a profound void, her family finds comfort in knowing that María is now in the place her heart always longed to be. She is at peace beside God, praising Him in Glory. They hold onto the hope and faith that they will see her again. María Gonzalez will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 12noon until 1:30pm.
