Margie "Chute" Bercegeay Ainsworth

Margie “Chute” Bercegeay Ainsworth passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late William R. Ainsworth.  Mother of Deena Saria and the late Tanya Saria Small, and Rayna Ann Schubert. Mother-in-law of Carl Schubert. Daughter of the late Bessie and Ernest Bercegeay. Sister of Loretta Ridgeway. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Grandmother of Joshua Landry, Austin Small, Kylan and Kayla Schubert, and the late Anthony Small. Great grandmother of Tanya, Avaya, Carson and Bentlee Small.  She was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was a devout Catholic.  She loved to play bingo, dance, and travel. She was a native of Sorrento, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1pm.
