Marcelin Claude “Shorty” Madison passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at age 86. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Melling Madison. Father of Jackie Tardiff (husband the late Kenneth Tardiff) and Claudia Ruello (husband Joseph). The last survivor of 9 children. Grandfather of Ryan Tardiff, Marcelyn (Fiancee’ Luis Marrero) and Amy Ruello (Fiancee Timothy Bunch). Great-grandfather of Zoe Bella Tardiff. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. He served in World War II in the U.S. Navy and was in the American Legion Post 222. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9 AM until service time.
