Malcolm L. "Mac" Hebert

Malcolm L. “Mac” Hebert, age 67 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Beloved and loving husband of Gwen “Susie” Hebert for 44 years. Son of Juliette Boudreaux Hebert and the late Louis Hebert. Loving and devoted father of Toni Hebert Breaux (Kris) and Elizabeth Hebert Melling (Andrew). Loving Grandfather of Emily Marie Breaux and Devin Kristopher Breaux. Step Grandfather of Layla Elizabeth Melling. Godfather of Glennon Diket and Cynthia Gauthreaux. Malcolm was born in Morgan City, LA and was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. He served in country in Vietnam while enlisted in the United States Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1905; he was a graduate from West Jefferson High School in 1965. Besides spending quality time with his loving family, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Malcolm’s visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday from 8AM until 10:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 3600 Claire Avenue, Gretna, LA on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
