Maison Anthony Martin

Maison Anthony Martin passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the very young age of 22. He will always be remembered as a sweet, good hearted, loving young man who loved all animals, fishing, sports, weight lifting, and most of all his family. Maison is the oldest beloved son of Rodney Jr. and Meca Martin. The greatest brother to Kaine, Taite, Haiden Martin, Gaige Rodriguez and Brendan Bernard. Maison is the first great grandchild of Mitch and Effie martin; grandson of Glenda (“Paw Hen” Henry) Estes. He is nephew of Mitchell Martin, Chastity Estes and great nephew of Sylvia Cooley Martin. Maison was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rodney Martin Sr. and Ronnie and Kathy Bernard. He will be greatly missed and remembered by family and friends new and old as an amazing person- GREAT Person. Now a Guardian Angel to all of us . Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon with a Memorial Mass to follow at 12:00 Noon at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 7th Street, Marrero. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna. Following the services, family and friends are invited to return to Maison’s home where he grew up to share stories of his life
