Mabel Aupied Galiano

Mabel Aupied Galiano, age 91, of Gretna, LA, passed away on May 24, 2026 at home, surrounded by loved ones. 

Mabel was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Galiano; daughter of the late Alfred and Agnes Zeringue Aupied; grandmother of the late Darryl Breaux; and sister-in-law of the late Barbara Cantrelle. She is survived by children Cindy Breaux (Ronnie), Marcia Miller (Don), Patty Gordon (Clifton), Robert Galiano, Gilbert Galiano, and Gloria Terrase (Ricky); ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law Ken Cantrelle.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Patricia Estrada and the loving staff of Heart of Hospice, and for the love and help from Lori, Beth, and Gail.

Interment will be private.
