Lydia Lauve Kass

Lydia Lauve Kass passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on May 2, 2017. She was 76 years old. Lydia was a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area and President of Gretna Glass & Mirror Works, Inc. Loving wife of the late Edward M. Kass of 60 plus years. Mother of Debra Kass Pierron. Daughter of the late Henry E. Lauve and the late Rena Wager Lauve. Mother-in-law of Johnny E. Pierron. Sister of Joyce Lauve Evans, Henry E. Lauve Jr., Mildred Lauve Falgout and Patricia Lauve Ward. Grandmother of Johnny J. Pierron (Eleesha), Angela Pierron Palombo (Anthony). Great-Grandmother of Landon and Chase Pierron, Dominic Palombo.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to PAWS (Plaquemines Animal Welfare) or ARNO (Animal Rescue of New Orleans) as Lydia loved pet animals.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 in the Chapel of Faith at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA where she will be reunited with her late husband, and they will be truly “Together Forever” as she always wanted.
