Louise S. Luther

Louise S. Luther passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Gerald R. Luther. Loving mother of Anna Lee Ledoux (Gene), Fred Mayeaux (Priscilla), Vivian Cook (Brandon), Gerry D. Tamplain, Phillip Luther, Linda Parker (Chuck) and the late Emily Elkins. Daughter of the late Mantel and Mathilda Savoie. Sister of the late Ovie, Edwin, Frank, Joseph and Antonie Savoie and Arteus Guidry. She was a loving grandmother of numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was a devoted member of Airline Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was a native of Cankton, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA for the past 48 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Airline Baptist Church are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Airline Baptist Church, 421 N. Lester, Metairie, LA on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11am. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
