Louis A. Suazo

d. March 22, 2024

Marrero

In loving memory of Louis A. Suazo, age 68, who, surrounded by his adoring family, peacefully departed on March 22, 2024. Louis was an extraordinary person, blessed with a contagious sense of humor and an ever-present joyous personality. Louis lived with a determination that inspired the lives of all who knew him. That determination was most obvious through his 36 years as an integral part of the Tujague's family. Both in his personal and professional life, Louis always had a sense of loyalty, commitment, and an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Louis enjoyed most the simple pleasures of life, particularly outdoor activities such as fishing, swimming, and tennis, but above all, being in the company of his beloved family.

Louis is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Claudia, his loving children Daniel (Yahaira), David (Chelsea), Dominic (Jessica), Destiny (Brady), and his grandson, Vincent. As well as his brother Ivan (Elaine) Suazo and sister Belinda (Hans) DeVries. He was a pillar of strength and love. He is leaving behind a legacy of strong faith and character that will endure through his family and friends.

Louis A. Suazo's celebration of life will be Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Memorial mass at 1 p.m. There will be no repass following the mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to No One Fights Alone, a charitable organization supporting those battling cancer, at nofanola.org (http://nofanola.org/).

May Louis Suazo’s memory continue to inspire and bring comfort to all those
whose lives he touched.
