Louis J. "L. J." Duhe, Sr.

Louis J. “L. J.” Duhe, Sr. passed away on January 21, 2014 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Betty Arabie Duhe. Father of Louis J. Duhe, Jr., Christopher C. Duhe, Gregory P. Duhe (Courtney) and Jason M. Duhe (Kristina). Grandfather of Jacob, Madison, Kayla, Ellie and Lauren. Brother of Huey Duhe, Richard Duhe, Dorothy Guidroz, Betty Bourne, Gail Barbier, Elaine Duhe, the late Charlie Duhe, Jr., Hilda Molaison and Joe Duhe. Son of the late Charles and Virgina Petit Duhe. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
L. J. served his country in the Louisiana National Guard and later retired as a ship fitter with Avondale Shipyards.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 9 AM. Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum. Visitation will take place on Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Saturday from 7:30 AM to 9 AM.
