Louella Matherne Rudolph

Louella Matherne Rudolph, 82, a native of Gheens, LA and a resident of Harvey, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was the devoted wife of the late George Rudolph. She is survived by her children, Susan Rudolph, Chris “Pete” Rudolph (Donna), Eva Marse (David), Cleveland Rudolph, and George J. Rudolph (Angela). Grandmother of the joys of her life, Brandon Marse, Ashley Rudolph and Austin Rudolph. Sister of Autry “Gene” Matherne (Lorena), Patsy Wegner (John), Harold Matherne (Lisa), Donald Matherne, Patrick Matherne (Caroline),and Robert Matherne (Julie). She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Eula Brown Matherne and her siblings, Harrington Matherne, Bertha Rudolph, Wesley Matherne, Nancy Ogle, Melvin Matherne, Sandra Matherne, and Allen Matherne. She was a retired bus driver for 31 years for the Jefferson Parish Schools and a parishioner of St. Rosalie and Immaculate Conception Churches. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 11am.
