Lola Ann Hymel

Lola Ann Hymel, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the age of 60. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angel Marie Hymel; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Hymel and Gabriel Paul Williams; son-in-law, Shaun Carl Jackson Sr.; parents, Herman Plaisance Sr. and Ella Borne; siblings, Brenda Plaisance, Herman Plaisance Jr., Tilton “Jay” Plaisance; father and mother-in-law, Norman and Doris Hymel; brother-in-law, Steven Hymel. She is beloved wife of 44 years of Don Hymel. She is loving mother of Crystal Perez, Patricia Hymel, Donna H. Camardelle (Jamie), Ashley H. Jackson, Tracey Hymel and Lacey Hymel . She is devoted grandmother of Shayne Hymel, Kaylemn Perez, Courtney Hymel, Sean Hymel, Jeremy Hymel, Layla Hymel, Gabrielle Hymel, Nicole Dufrene, Michael Dufrene III, Kirstein Lasserre, Felix Lasserre Jr., Emma Lasserre, Shaelyn Hymel, Jordynn Jackson, Paris Hymel, Cory Fenimore Jr, Chloe Fenimore, Izabella Russell. She is great grandmother of Krisi Navarro Hymel, Shayne Hymel III, Tyler Brady Jr.. She is sister of Rose Perez (Carlos), Gary Plaisance and Glenda Billiot. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Norman “Buddy” Hymel Jr.; sisters-in-law, Gail Berger (Henry) and Linda Guidroz; numerous nieces, nephews other family and friends. Lola will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 beginning at 9 :00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
