It is with profound sorrow and deep reverence that we announce the passing of Linda "Lynn" T. Guillot, a cherished soul whose life journey concluded on March 19, 2026. Born on January 25, 1950, Lynn devoted three decades of her life to the Jefferson Parish Courthouse, where her unwavering dedication touched the offices of the Clerk of Court, the District Attorney, numerous judges, and the Intensive Probation Drug Court. Her exemplary service stands as a testament to a career marked by integrity, commitment, and an enduring passion for justice.
A devoted member of Christ Baptist Church in Harvey, Lynn's faith was a cornerstone of her life, inspiring those around her with grace, strength, and compassion. Her spirit radiated kindness and her presence enriched the lives of all who had the privilege to know her.
Lynn leaves behind a loving family who carry forward her legacy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard J. Guillot; their beloved son, Michael J. Guillot (Kristen R. Bodker); and the bright light of her grandchildren, Eric R. Bodker and Aubrey Lynn Guillot. Her familial circle extends warmly to her siblings Jackie Yager, J. R. Turner, Jeanne Elliott, and Sandy Appel, as well as her sisters-in-law Myra Cannino (Nicki) and Lucinda Liuzza (Anthony), and her brother-in-law Larry Guillot, Sr. (Judy). Loved by a multitude of nieces and nephews—numbering twenty-six in total—Lynn was also embraced by a kind and loving extended family, friends, and neighbors whose lives were indelibly touched by her presence.
We remember and honor the cherished memories of those dear to Lynn who have preceded her in death: her parents, John and Arness A. Turner; her parents-in-law, Larry, Sr., and Olga T. Guillot; her sisters Wanda Houston and Gerry Jemison; brothers-in-law Hugh Houston, Bill Yager, Jerry Elliott, and Frankie Appel; and sister-in-law Joan S. Turner.
To pay homage to Lynn’s remarkable life, services will be held with heartfelt solemnity. A viewing will take place on March 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Marrero - Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC, located at 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072, United States.
