Linda Smith Cannon

Linda Smith Cannon entered into eternal rest on February 11, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Cannon. Mother of David Powell, Angela Cannon, Jennifer Cannon and Stefhanie Cannon. Grandmother of Hailey Lauland and Arianna McCatherine. Daughter of the late Jacob Smith, Jr. and Lillian Lacoste Smith. Sister of Carol Santiny, Lorriane McElwee (John), Jacob Smith III (Lori), David Smith (Celisa), John Smith (Cathy), and Cheryl Amedio (Lawrence Sr.). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 74 years, a native of Ft. Worth, TX and resident of Marrero, LA. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 1 PM. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until service time. Interment private.
