Linda Baudean Burregi entered eternal rest on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Norbert Carriere, Sr. by first marriage and the late Philip Burregi by second marriage. Daughter of the late Herman Baudean, Sr. and the late Hazel Traub Baudean. Loving mother of Aristille A. Carriere, Sr., Norbert J. Carriere, Jr. and the late Robert J. Carriere. Grandmother of Aristille Carriere, Jr. (Courtney), Joshua Carriere, Katilyn Richard (Mark) and Miracle Missildine. Great Grandmother of Liam, Lucas and Loraine Carriere, Aristille, III, Danielle, Kailee, Caine, Gabriella and Garbiel Carriere. Great Great Grandmother of Enzlee, Violet and Emilio Carriere. Linda is the sister of Herman Baudean and Fay Cheramie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Linda Baudean Burregi passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of joy, laughter and devotion to family and friends. Linda was known for her vibrant spirit and her love of music. She especially enjoyed singing and spent many memorable nights at karaoke. She found great happiness in the outdoors. Camping trips and fishing with her family were among her favorite past times, where she embraced nature and created lasting memories with those she loved. Linda also had a true passion for cooking. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and comfort, and she delighted in preparing meals that brought family and friends together around the table. In her younger years, Linda was active in a softball league, where her competitive spirit and teamwork shone brightly. She carried that same strength and determination throughout her life. Linda will be remembered for her love of family, her joyful voice, her generous heart, and the many ways she made life brighter for others. She leaves behind a circle of loved ones who will forever cherish her memory. May her memory bring comfort and peace to all who knew and loved her. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Friday, March 6, 2026, beginning at 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11AM. Interment will take place in McDonoghville Cemetery, Hancock Street, Gretna, Louisiana.
