Lillian Merle DeRoche Badeaux born on February 18, 1932 in New Orleans, LA passed away with family by her side on November 2, 2024 in Marrero. Former wife of the late Norris Randolph Badeaux. Mother of Jerry Norris Badeaux (the late Laurna), Debbie Badeaux Maniglia (Carlo), Kathy Badeaux LeBlanc (the late Don), Rhonda Badeaux Brondum Carter, (Michael Jr). Daughter of the late Edmore Leonard DeRoche Sr and the late Eunice Loup DeRoche. Sister of Faye DeRoche LeCompte, the late Bertha DeRoche Badeaux, and the late Edmore Leonard DeRoche Jr. Grandmother of Scott Badeaux (Perry), Chad Badeaux (Crystal), Samantha Badeaux, Savannah Badeaux, Dalton Badeaux, Angela Hon (Randy), Philip Maniglia Sr., (Missy), David LeBlanc, Steven LeBlanc, Brittany Brondum (Carmen), Michael Carter III. (Brie), Katie Carter, Aaron Carter (Theresa), and the late Raymond Brondum, Jr. Great grandmother of Tristan, Alden, Jace, Skylar, Kayla, Kloe, Philip Jr., Katie, Annabelle, Sophie, John, Mary, Jacob, Ashton, Cayden, Baylen, Del, Devyn, Bec, Lacey, Casey, Michael IV., Eli. She was lovingly known as Me Maw by all. Lillian passionately loved her family and her Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks to all who have prayed for Lillian, and all who have cared for her throughout these past 14 months. A special thanks to our sister Kathy LeBlanc who was mom’s primary caregiver prior to and through this 14-month journey. We selected Heart of Hospice for her medical care on the advice of her long-term medical doctor. The doctor, nurse, chaplain and aide who primarily cared for our mom were compassionate, kind and loving in all interactions with her. Lillian was buried on Tuesday November 5, 2024, at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna, LA in a private grave side ceremony with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
