Licerio "John" Sison Bernas

Licerio Sison Bernas, affectionately known as John, entered into eternal rest on March 1, 2026.

Licerio “John” Sison Bernas was born on September 24, 1965 in Key West, Florida, to the late Licerio Ochave Bernas Sr and Clairita Sevilla Sison Bernas.

John is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Lynne Bernas of 27 years and his four children: Kari Anne Ieong (Vincent); Andrew, Allison, and Gabrielle. He is also survived by his brother: Nathaniel (MaryElisa); his nieces and nephew, Malyssa, Krystine, and Neil. He also leaves behind his three cherished grandchildren: Nathan, Matthew and Oliver Ieong.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 1 PM. Visitation will be held from 10:30AM until mass time. Interment private.
