Lester Paul Lucas

Lester Paul Lucas was born on March 29, 1957, and passed peacefully surrounded by family on October 6, 2025, at the age of 68.

Lester is preceded in death by his first and only love, Debra Ann Lucas. He is the son of the late Frank J Lucas and the late Elsie Mae Vidal Lucas. He is the loving father of Michelle Lucas, Daniel Lucas (Cassie), and Michael Lucas (Amanda). The adoring grandfather of J.D, Trichelle, Abbie, Jocelyn, Arabela and great-grandfather to Autumn.

He is preceded in death by his sisters Vanessa, Shirley Mae, Anna Mae, and his brother Frank Jr "Bucky". He is survived by his sisters Francis, Esther and Mary. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lester was a big Saints and LSU fan. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

His funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and the funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will be private.
