Leonie Ardine Leblanc

Leonie Ordine Dufour LeBlanc, (Jane, Ardine, Deanie, Leonie) wife of the late Gustave H. LeBlanc, Jr. and by first marriage to the late Laurence D. Maurin. She was the 4th daughter of the late Ferrier Dufour and the late Odile Ducote Dufour. She was preceeded in death by her sisters Viola Duckett, Lyda Chunn, Verina Kimball and her brothers Joseph, Curry, Lee, Clebert, Andrew, Woodrow, Walter and Willie Dufour. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was born in Bunkie, LA on April 27, 1926, and lived in several towns across the state until she came to New Orleans in 1941. She was a resident of New Orleans until 1978 when she then moved to Belle Chasse, LA. She will be dearly missed by all. A heartfelt thanks to Nelda Junot for her loving care and support to Deanie in her final months. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Belle Chasse on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 11:30AM. Visitation will begin at 10:30AM. Interment will follow immediately at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie, LA.
