Leonce "Woody" Joseph Barrios Jr

Leonce “Woody” Joseph Barrios, Jr., was born in Marrero, Louisiana to his parents, Leonce Barrios, Sr. and Mary Ann Barrios on April 25, 1969. He passed on December 4, 2024.

Woody was known as an easy-going, friendly, and loving person. He was always smiling and offering a helping hand to friends and family. Woody was a cancer survivor of approximately 15 years. Although he faced many challenges physically, he kept his cheerful personality.

Woody is survived by his parents, Leonce and Mary Ann, sister Lizette Mitchell (John), brother Todd Barrios (Leslie), brother Bruce Barrios (Susan), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Clair Barrios Kennedy.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on January 4, 2025 at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA from 10:00 to 12:00 pm. Funeral Rites will begin 12:00 pm in the parlor. Interment will be private.
