Leon Anthony Cacibauda Sr.

Leon Anthony Cacibauda Sr, loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born in Belle Chase on October 12, 1946, to the late Vincentia Sage Cacibauda and the late Jack Cacibauda. 
He is survived by his children, Leon Anthony Cacibauda Jr., Michael Cacibauda (Raelyn), and Jason Cacibauda, his grandchildren, Anthony, Michael Jr., Georgette, Ryan Jr., and Ethan. Leon is also survived by his siblings, Maryann Musgrave (Cortland), Joseph Cacibauda (Sue), and Dominick Cacibauda (late Paulla). 
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Johnny Vincent Cacibauda, and his former wife, Nyanza Cacibauda. 
Leon served his country in the United States Air Force, and he worked at Phillips Petroleum for many years. Leon will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. 
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for the wonderful care they provided Leon in his final days. 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation from 5pm-7pm on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 7pm.
